size of the building and takes into account the following areas:
Roofing: shingle condition,
life expectancy, flashing and protrusions, chimneys and skylights;
Exterior: condition of eavestrough
system, windows, doors, wall condition, decks, walkways, driveway and
grading;
Structure: roof structure,
foundation/support systems;
Interior: insulation, ventilation,
floors, stairs, cupboards, windows, doors, fireplace and exhaust fans;
Heating/Cooling: test/operate
system, oil tank and lines, venting, date and life expectancy;
Plumbing: test/evaluate system,
distribution piping, drainage system, sump pumps, flow/leaks, hot water
tank, sinks, tubs and showers;
Electrical: test/evaluate,
service size, grounding, main panel, distribution wiring, continuity,
switches, plugs and ground fault circuit interrupters;
Septic Tank: conduct a limited,
visual inspection of the tank.
