WETT (Wood Energy Technology Transfer) - Basic
Visual Inspector
Are you considering purchasing a home or seasonal property
with a wood-burning appliance (wood-burning fireplace, space heater
or stove), or has your insurance company requested a WETT certificate
on that appliance.
A basic visual inspection is a general overview of the
readily accessible visible parts to determine if the system meets current
regulations. The WETT certificate will reflect if the appliance is compliant
with current standards.
The area I cover include the following towns in Muskoka
- Bala, Baysville, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Kilworthy,
Port Carling, Port Sydney, Rosseau, Sundridge, and Utterson. In addition,
I do inspections in the GTA.
